CCLW1 Wilder Stable Lantern

$0.00

This CCLW1 Wilder Stable Lantern is made right here in our Cape Cod workshop and derives it’s name from it’s original intended location. It was used in livery stables from the late 1700’s to mid-1800’s. A wall mounted lantern, it hung between the archways of the stalls. It’s triangular shape has more than simply a decorative function. It enables the light to fall on both sides. The original Stable Lantern was three feet high, and burned first oil, then later kerosene. It is pictured here in Dark Antique Brass, and will weather to a natural patina. It accommodates one medium base light bulb.
Truly a conversation piece!

Dear Debbie and Craig, I just want to tell how fantastic the lanterns look! It took some time to get things to move forward but they are perfect and truly stunning. Will send photos once things are cleaned up. I am in love with my house now. Thank you for being part of it.
